David is an experienced businessman, consultant, trainer and coach, focused on helping individuals and teams build trusted business relationships – with clients, colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders.
With more than 30 years business experience and more than 20 in business development and learning, David has a particular ability to connect skills and concepts to real-life commercial scenarios. Clients describe him as thoughtful, commercial and pragmatic.
Born in the UK, he was a consultant with PwC in London for 5 years before co-founding TraQs Consulting at the age of 27. Five years later, in 1995, he sold his stake in TraQs Consulting and moved to Hong Kong where he re-joined PwC. In addition to consulting with clients, David held various leadership positions at PwC including Business Development Director, Marketing and Communications Director, Client Training Director and, finally, Head of the PricewaterhouseCoopers Leadership Academy.
David co-authored ‘Smarter Selling: How to Grow Sales by Building Trusted Relationships’, an international best-seller which was published in 2007 by The Financial Times in London and has been translated into 5 languages including Chinese and Russian.
